Tans & Hands offer a range of top quality professional manicures, pedicures and nail enhancements using products from The Edge and Creative Nail Design.  All nail services are performed with no electric filing and our products do not contain MMA.

Manicures

All manicures include a nail shape and soak in our nail spa, followed by cuticle conditioning and removal, hand scrub and exfoliant, hand massage, hand cream and a choice of nail polish to finish

Pedicures

Invigorate and refresh your feet, our pedicures begin with an anti-inflammatory soothing foot soak in our foot spa, nail and cuticle conditioning followed by a 2-step exfoliation procress of foot scrub and dead skin removal.  As you relax and unwind, your feet are treated to a lower leg and foot massage followed by a choice of nail polish to complete the experience

Luxury Range

A luxury manicure and pedicure is the same method as the classic manicure and pedicure with the addition of a foot masque.  Hands and feet are left soft and smooth.  A wonderful treatment to spoil yourself or someone else

Nail Brightening Treatment

Nails can become discoloured from all sorts of causes - nail polish, tanning products and smoking are just a few.  Our nail brightening treatment will remove stubborn stains as well as ridges where stains can concentrate.  The treatment contains brightening and whitening ingredients as well as moisturisers to keep them moisturised and healthy

Paraffin Wax Treatment

This is a relaxing treatment which can both soothe away aches and pains, and helps to moisturise at the same time.  The wax is melted in a specialist heater to ensure that the temperature is just right.  Once you've tried it you'll understand why it's been used for years by doctors, physios and now manicures and pedicures

Everlasting Polish

Never enough hours in the day?  Are you the kind of person who always chips your nail polish the minute you leave the salon?  Well, why not try an Everlasting Polish?  It long lasting, for a chip-free, immaculate finish for your natural nails which will last approxiamately 4-6 weeks.  Smooth and strong, a smoother finish that stays stronger for longer.  Solves hassle-free holidays, well, for your hands and feet anyway!  The Everlasting Polish lasts for weeks rather than days, so you can have perfect nails from arrival to departure, and beyong.  They are easily removed in the salon, just soaks off in about 15 minutes, so no damage to your natural nails

Natural Nail Overlays

Gel is applied to the surface of your natural nails, helping promote nail growth without extending the length, giving additional strength and helping to reduce breaking, splitting and peeling.  An excellent choice as a nail hardening treatment.

Nail Enhancements

There are different types of artificial nail available, each with different benefits for individual customers.  Nail Extensions are applied over the top of a false plastic tip, thaty adheres to the nail to make it last longer.  The different types of enhancement available are listed below:

* Acrylic: the most popular, and strongest.  It's a combination of a liquid and a powder, mixed together to make a strong resin which is then applied to the false tip or natural nail.  Ideal if you have a busy lifestyle, or are a little heavy-handed

* Gel: more flexible than acrylic, although not quite a strong.  Brings a lovely shine to the finished nail

For when you want a change, we recommend you have your enhancements professionally removed.  We can remove most types of enhancement.  This service includes a mini manicure to restore hydration to your natural nails
